As humans, we waste the shit out of our words. It’s sad. We use words like “awesome” and “wonderful” like they’re candy. It was awesome? Really? It inspired awe? It was wonderful? Are you serious? It was full of wonder? You use the word “amazing” to describe a goddamn sandwich at Wendy’s. What’s going to happen on your wedding day, or when your first child is born? How will you describe it? You already wasted “amazing” on a fucking sandwich. Louis C.K (via exoticwild)

Some men don’t know what it means to stay.
They’ve watched their mothers leave every morning,
and their fathers leave every night.
We think, maybe that’s where they learned their disappearing act.
But I know women who’ve lived their entire lives in empty homes,
and the absence has taught them something else. Key Ballah via (via keywrites)

Watching a documentary on a interracial marriage between a Native American/African American woman and a Caucasian man and it’s literally sickening what they had to go through not to mention what their children had to go through. And to think we are doing this all over again with same sex marriages today. People are so fucking sick, races have been mixing since the Europeans brought these other races here. They didn’t even care about the “colored” races mixing with one another until their own white man or woman began mixing. We’ve come far but it’s fucking pathetic how far this world has to go.
